Founded in 1974 by Ugo and Ben, Dufferin Iron and Railings began with a vision to build lasting stability for their families through a business they could call their own. With determination, they transformed a small 1,000-square-foot workshop on Dufferin Street into the foundation of what would become one of Toronto’s leading wrought iron companies.

Through the years, the company grew steadily, from the addition of the first employee to the use of a single vehicle for installations. By 2000, Ugo was proud to have his sons join him as owners, which accelerated the company’s growth. What started as a small operation quickly expanded, adding a larger team, more vehicles, and a production facility six times the original size.

Today, Dufferin Iron is a testament to hard work, innovation, and dedication to craftsmanship. We also take great pride in our experienced team of fabricators and installers who are the heart of our operation.
